Class policy: Registration is required in advance for all classes unless otherwise noted; if you would like to join at the last minute, please give us a call to verify availability. Your registration is not complete until payment is received. Refunds are given for cancellations 48 hours prior to the start of the class. Because all classes have a minimum number of attendees, each class will be confirmed with participants 24 hours before the class starts. Prenatal Yoga Birth Method
The Yoga Birth Method is an 8 step birthing pathway that empowers women through a natural and mindful childbirth experience. YBM's philosophy is for the mother to connect with her baby during childbirth and to engage in her labor as an experience of enlightenment. A very specific sequence of breathing and postures adapted to the physical and emotional changes in the stages of labor enable women to manage contractions from a calm, meditative and controlled perspective. Private workshops available $75
This two hour course is designed to give the expectant family all of the information they need to get started with a successful breastfeeding relationship. Topics include: Newborn characteristics, Initiating breastfeeding, Latch techniques and infant positioning, Normal breastfeeding patterns, How to establish and maintain good milk supply, Common problems, Introducing Bottles, and a brief section on Pumping and proper milk storage. There is also tie for a Q&A session to address any concerns not addressed in the class.

Mom and Tot Yoga
Mom & Tot yoga classes are a very comfortable, supportive environment where moms can meet other women, enjoy special times with their babies, and experience the benefits of yoga without worrying about babies "bothering" others.
These classes have their own special rhythm, following the needs of the babies. Bring a blanket for your baby and wear comfortable clothes you can move in. No prior yoga experience necessary. You and your newborn are through active crawling, are welcome and may participate as gently as you like; if you have questions about when to start, do ask your midwife or doctor.
$75 for 7 class punch card.
Prepared Childbirth in a Hospital Setting
Four, 2-hour classes cover anatomy and physiology of the birthing woman, healthy nutrition and exercise throughout pregnancy, what to expect during labor, common medical procedures, pain relief techniques, breastfeeding and postpartum care.
$150 for the birthing mother and up to 2 support people.
Cesarean Prevention Class
This class reviews the history of cesareans, the most common reasons why cesareans are recommended, understanding the absolute versus non-absolute indications for surgical birth, and possible ways to overcome the physiological reasons a cesarean may be recommended.

Birth Story Gatherings

Covering infant topics such as Diapering, baby communication, newborn characteristics, newborn bathing, cord care, cord blood options, choosing a doctor for your baby, childproofing for baby. Postpartum topics include: making a postpartum plan, postpartum body care and what to expect, Is it Baby Blues or more?, Sexuality and Contraception.
